It's so true, ya know? Very powerful poem. I love how it connects with the deepest part of human nature and emotion. We held an hour-long lecture at Oxford on this poem simply because it is so astounding.

Senior Trip - Winter Park

Wow, what a fun week. I am now fully convinced that Colorodo was the perfect choice for our senior trip. It was great to escape to a place completely opposite of Houston. With only 9 weeks left of school, this was unfortunately one of our last times for us seniors to enjoy each other's company. However, we definitly made the most of every minute and we will continue to do so in the future.

Highlights:

• Fulfilling my goal of going down a "double" black diamond with Jenni and naturally falling 8 times down the slope.
• Logan purposefully tripping over himself in the airport while getting on and off escalators, walkways, and stairs. People's reactions were classic. (pictures below)
• Seeing Wade eat it...repeatedly.
• Being entranced by Lindsey and Becca's beautiful duet in the old-school roller-blade competition.
  
• Correctly predicting that Richard would be the first one to be hurt on the trip.
• Having a "cheap" $15 dollar lunch.
• Becoming a member of the "sick club".
• Hearing Becca repeatedly call out for Paul on the airplane when there is most definitely not a kid named Paul in our grade.
  
• In the middle of the night, hearing Denton mutter "Dear Lord...." in the midst of Spencer's loud snoring.
• Witnessing Gerhards slip on ice and fall on his butt, then five seconds later witnessing Austin do the exact same thing.
• Walking from the skii rental store to the lodge with plastic bags as shoes.

Welp, last dance Student Council '05-'06 will ever have to take care of. Not sure if I'm happy or sad. Thanks to all of yall who helped with the preperation. Yall rock.
