The Globe
Saw the Tempest here. Hate to sound selfish, but my-oh-my did it stink. Three actors played it, non stop, no intermissions, for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Three actors, 8-9 characters, and 1 noose in the middle to show that the actors are switching characters. It was so awful I don't even know the names of the characters. Oh man...awful. But, on a positive note, The Globe looked cool!
Tutorials are Over!
We are done with our tutorials. I'm sad to say good-bye to Jerry, but it's also comforting to know I have no more work to do. Well, we do have two more lectures tommorow morning, but that's besides the matter.
I want to update some pictures, but I'm unable to because I'm on a computer that is not compatable with the dock/camera.
We saw Les Miserables today in London, Queen's theatre I believe. It was quite excellent indeed. We also went to the National Gallery which held some truly amazing paintings. At one point, there was a random modern gallery. In this gallery, there was a video of a rabit slowly getting devoured by maggots. It was one of those things where you want to look away b/c of it's rupugnance, but you just can't. It was kind of amusing because at some points, the people watching the video would simultaneously go "Ewwwww" or "Egggghhh" at the gross parts. Then we would all laugh because of the incredibly weird situation. It was a once in a life-time thing for sure.
Also, about 2 days ago we went to the Modern Arts Museum. One word: rediculous. Some of the art was just simply not art. The best example I know of is this...
Picture an old 80's TV. It is very industrial, all metal, very simplistic. It sits on one of those rolly-carts that holds tv's, like the ones used at school. Now, this TV is underneath another TV, which happnens to be the same model but upside down. The first TV showed a repeating video of a man in a green elf costume with a red backdrop. The elf is jumping up in down in frustration, knees and legs both going up and down at the same time as he jumps and hits the ground, and during this he is shouting "No! No! No! No! No! No! No!" each time he lands on the ground. The TV on top of the other shows another video of an elf. However, it's an upside-down video and the elf is red elf with a green costume. He is doing the " No! No ! No! No! No!". These 2 video's would repeat itself over and over. So, yeah....I have no freakin' clue what it was supposed to symbolize. I think the best part was looking at the people "studying" the "art" and trying to interpret it. Oh man...won't forget that.
Anywho, I'm off to head back to ultimate frisbe. I'm hoping I will be ahead of the game when the real college comes around;)

Water Bottle Cap
Everytime I read this, I try to determine what it means. I mean, is it "Still, naturally feel good?" or maybe "Naturally, feel good still"? After maybe 5 minutes of intense ponderance, I come to a conclusion that I have no freakin' clue.*Update!* It's been 2 weeks and we have finally figured out this bottle cap. In England, or Europe rather, there is "still" water and "sparkling" water. Sparkling is carbonated and still is not. So, the bottle cap indicates that it is ~still" water while saying, "Feel Good Naturally". Wow, it took us Oxford kids 14 days to figure that. Aren't we supposed to be intelligent or something?

Gilbert of Salsbury
Gilbert lives in the middle of townOn account of his size
He's easily found
At 8 feet high
and 5 feet wide
he sits with a grin
to show his pride
Everyone loves him
Cute as a bear
You can't help but smile#
When seeing him there
With pointed tail
And wings that spread
Red and green#
From toe to head
A creature fancy
Made of all plants
When we are asleep
He's likely to dance
Floating like magic
His feet off the ground
From street to street
They move him around
Have you guessed what he is yet?
I'll give you a clue
The smoke from his nostrils is probably blue
Ofcourse! He's a dragon as everyone knows
The mystery is
Where does he go?
